EJECTORS. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 10107. 27 3/4" Monobloc bbls. are fitted with deep concave "plume" rib. Top of rear portion is marked "PROGRESS CHAPUIS SAINT ETIENNE". Bbl. flats are stamped with French proofs for 2 3/4" chambers. Ejector mechanism is between dual lumps. Coin finished boxlock triggerplate type action with ornamental sideplates features nonautomatic safety and double triggers. Action and lockplates are engraved with British style rose and scroll. Fences are semi relief carved with rose bouquets. Relatively plain European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14 3/4" over checkered wood butt. Point pattern checkering is at grip and a vacant silver oval is on toeline. Matching long beavertail forend has Deeley release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .723", L .724". Restriction: R .007" (IC), L .027" (IMOD). Min. Wall Thickness: R . 037", L .035". STOCK: DAH: 2 1/4". DAC: 1 7/16". LOP: 14 3/4". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT: 6 lb. 7 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun comes in older English green canvas leather trimmed case with brass corners embossed "G.B.W." on top. Interior is lined in purple felt and has Charles Boswell paper label in lid along with a modern Chapuis black vinyl label. Case contains a key. CONDITION: very fine retaining nearly all factory finishes on metal and with a few minor marks and scratches in wood. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanically fine. Case is good. Exterior canvas faded and with some stains. Straps and handle are good. Interior cloth shows mold spots and other soiling. Boswell label is somewhat foxed and with stains. (22-4489/MGM).
