Cal. 7x57 (7mm Mauser). S# 51. Bbl. 22" with import marking. Blade front sight with protective ears. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1400m. Mauser short rifle used by the Carabineros de Chile, aka the Chilean Gendarmerie. Receiver top has the Carabineros de Chile crest. Receiver bridge has a Mauser banner. Right side of receiver has "BUGN" proofs. All visible matching numbers, including cleaning rod. Blued finish. Walnut stock set with left side and bottom-mounted sling provisions. Leather sling present. Left side of stock has strong Chilean cartouches. CONDITION: stock set has an arsenal oil finish with scattered dings and handling wear. Metal retains 50% original blue with some light band removal dings, scattered fading, edge wear, and light oxidation. Action functions properly when hand-cycled.
