SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER & SPARE MAGAZINE. Cal. 9x19mm. S# 3CH9418. Bbl. 4 5/8". Mk.I* High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Canada by Inglis under contract for the Nationalist Chinese military. Left side of the slide is marked "MK.I*/ BROWNING FN 9MM HP INGLIS CANADA". Right side of the frame, slide (virtually illegible), and bbl. exhibit Canadian proofing. Butt exhibits an "KDS ATL GA." import mark. Metal components exhibit a phosphate finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Slide catch / takedown lever is blued. Slotted frame is fitted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips, featuring a lanyard stud and ring on the left side. Dovetailed blade front sight with V-notch tangent rear sight graduated 50-500. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 2 13-rd. mags. marked "JI" on the bodies and floorplates. UNATACHED ACCESSORIES: Canadian proofed Z.L. & T Ltd. 1944 mfg. khaki canvas holster, containing spare mag. and cleaning rod. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their arsenal phosphate finish, showing mild edge wear, areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina (primarily on grip straps), as well as consistent light to mild pitting, which is primarily present on the slide and underside of the frame, forward of the trigger guard. Near mirror bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of light to mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show scattered handling marks, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Holster shows age related discoloration and some light wear, but otherwise remains very good overall. (25-4556/MLW).
