PISTOL WITH STOCK/HOLSTER. Cal. 9x19mm. S# 71401. Bbl. 5 1/2". Model TU-711 semi-automatic pistol designed after the Mauser Model 711 mfg. in China by Navy Arms in 1992. These examples utilized Model 712 pattern bbl./bbl. extensions that were reworked to 9x19mm Parabellum, and were assembled using a newly mfg. frame. Left side of the frame is marked with a bow and arrow within a cog, with Chinese characters above an "S" within a circle marked on the right. Front grip strap is marked "CHINA/ .45 ACP" and with a Navy Arms import mark, with "CHINA" marked on the rear strap. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt and hammer, which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved wood grips. Fixed blade front sight, with tangent V-notch rear sight, graduated 50-1000. Matching numbers are present on the frame, as well as on the mag. floorplate. MAGS: 1 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked Chinese wood stock/holster, with brown leather harness and shoulder strap. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light to mild wear and thinning (primarily on edges), with scattered superficial handling marks present overall. Bolt shows scattered spots of cleaned and polished pitting. Bright bore, exhibiting light pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips are very good, showing some superficial marks and minor impressions from handling and storage. Stock/holster shows scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (25-2399/MLW). MODERN. $1,000-1,500.
