Cal. 36. S# 149019. Standard configuration 4th model 1851 navy, brass backstrap & triggerguard, blue & case colored, 7.5" octagonal barrel, brass pin front sight, 1-line New York address, left side of frame stamped "COLTS PATENT". This example was made in 1863 at height of Civil War. CONDITION: very good overall, matching serial numbers on barrel, cylinder, frame, backstrap, trigger guard, & loading arm, wedge is numbered 2666 and missing spring, grips appear to be old replacements. Cylinder has good clear rolled scene and 6 full safety pins appearing much better than the rest of the gun. (01-26069/JS). ANTIQUE. $500-800.
