Standard configuration of the early Colt 1860 army revolver, 8" round barrel, 4-screw frame made for shoulder stock, fluted cylinder with patent markings on one flute, small "COLT'S / PATENT" left side of frame. One line Hartford address. Many guns in this serial range were shipped South. CONDITION: fair to good as restored, address freshened, matching restruck S#s throughout other than cylinder pin which is original S#. Wedge is original Colt S# 5026, restored wedge spring and several screws. Metal cleaned, buffed, and recolored. Mechanics need attention, revolver cocks but indexes askew to chambers, well defined rifled bore. (01-23155/JS). $3,000-4,000.
