& POWDER FLASK. This lot includes 1 very fine Civil War union cloth-covered canteen with a pewter spout and tinned iron body. There are three strap guides on the edge of the canteen that support a very interesting tarred linen strap. There is a beige-brown wool cover and complete stopper and chain. / 1 Indian War period brass bugle with a plated mouthpiece attached with a chain. / 1 Reproduction patriotic powder flask showing a spray of flags with a cannon in the foreground. CONDITION: canteen shows minor wear but does have a few dents under the cover. Bugle and powder flask show light wear. (02-23282/BF). $300-500.
