Left side of the frame is marked "COLTS/ PATENT". Cyl. is roll engraved with Colt's stagecoach hold up scene. Frame, hammer, and loading lever exhibit a case colored finish, with the bbl. and trigger exhibiting a blue finish. Brass trigger guard and backstrap exhibit a silver plated finish. Bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of mild to moderate pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grip shows scattered superficial marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. PROVENANCE: From the Lifetime Collection of Malcolm Zickler, Ret. USAF Lt. Col.
