ROLLER BUCKLE. 1) BELT. This is a white buff leather belt with a dyed brown face, measuring approx. 44” in length. It is made in 2 pieces and features an iron roller buckle secured by 2 copper rivets. It is likely this is a belt for a fuse pouch, possibly used by the Navy. CONDITION: belt is a bit stiff but somewhat pliable. Buckle has a dark patina but is functional. (02-20106/BF). 2) BUCKLE. A standard issue US oval enlisted man’s buckle of the Civil War. There is a large “US” on the front, and the reverse has 2 spade hooks & a tongue. CONDITION: buckle has a dark patina and appears to be an early battlefield find. (02-20109/BF). $400-700.
