Regulation 1850 staff & field etched blade with Eickhorn, Solingen "squirrel" logo cartouche on ricasso. "Philadelphia" etched among 16" etched panels including large American eagle under ribbon of stars. CONDITION: good overall. 31.5" blade has good discernible etched patriotic panels, sharkskin grip has partial wire wrap, hilt is bent, good brass patina. Brass mounted steel scabbard retains some original brown finish, throat is missing screw, replaced screw in drag. PROVENANCE: William Ivey Collection. (02-26572/JS). NON-GUN. $500-700.
