This belt rig consists of an M1851 saber belt plate with a medium tongue on the reverse of its original belt. Both the belt and the keeper are numbered "306". Mounted on the belt is a Civil War pistol cartridge box, the original saber hanging straps, and a holster for a Colt 1860 army revolver. CONDITION: the buckle shows light wear overall. The leather is generally solid but shows crazing and flexing. Approx. 50% of the top of the holster flap is separated. (02-22882/BF). $600-800.
