12TH PENNSYLVANIA CAVARLY. This Monochromatic memorial measures 26 1/2" x 22". It memorializes Company L of the 12th Pennsylvania Cavalry who were organized in 1861 and 1862. Their major battles included Second Manassas, Monocacy, Frederick, Antietam and all three battles of Winchester, VA. During the War, the 12th had 2 officer's and 32 men killed. They also had 1 officer and 107 men die of disease. CONDITION: the memorial has a bit of fading and water damage. The frame shows light wear. (02-24524/BF). $200-300.
