Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 81-0003433. Bbl. 5.75". The RPB industries M10, often mistakenly referred to as the Mac 10 (evidently sounds cooler to the Hollywood crowd), was originally offered in semi auto as an open bolt system just like its predecessor the M10 SMG. The BATF determined that the open bolt semi autos met the criteria of a machine gun under the "readily restorable" clause & banned future manufacture, Grand-Fathering those that were assembled on or before June 21, 1982 under ATF ruling 82-8. Like everything else the Federal Government tells citizens they can not have, interest in the early originals immediately skyrocketed & they have been considered highly prized collectibles for over 40 years now. Barrel threaded w/ traditional 3/4x10 threads. Factory protected post front & fixed rear peep sights. Rotating cocking knob locks the action closed as an additional safety. Primary safety located front right side of trigger. MAGS: 1 steel 30 rd. CONDITION: Exterior finish thinning, as common w/ these pistols, having seen some range use over the last 4 decades. Bright bore w/ good rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Terrance McCarty. (24-109/JZ). MODERN. $900-1,200.
