Cal. 36. S# 78621. Bbl. 7 1/2", octagon bbl. with Hartford address and brass bead sight. Six-shot round cyl. with naval scene roll engraving. Blue and case-colored finish with silver-finished brass backstrap and a small, round trigger guard. One-piece walnut grips. Bbl., frame, grip straps, loading lever, and wedge have matching number. Cyl. Hasa non-matching number, "78614". Mfg. 1857. CONDITION: metal has faded to brown, showing handling marks and some very light pitting. Cyl. retains 80% of its scene. Grip straps retain traces of silver with numerous small dents. Grips have heavily worn, weathered appearance with dents at the butt and chips at the toe. Sound action.
