1) COLT 1860 ARMY. Cal. 44. S# 7308. Bbl. 8" rnd. w/ blade sight & single line New York address. 6 Shot rebated roll engraved cyl. Four screw action cut for shoulder stock. 1 Piece walnut grip. Brass trigger guard. CONDITION: metal has gray patina appearance w/ spots of light pitting & numerous dents on bbl. & cyl. Cyl. retains 50% scene. Some major parts including cyl., grip straps & loading lever are renumbered. Some action screws are missing or replacements. Grips show heavy dents & wear w/ reworking that have left them undersized. Action functions. Bore retains intact rifling. (01-18649/DS). 2) UNMARKED COPY OF A CONFEDERATE RIGDON. Cal. 36. NSN. Bbl. 7 1/2" rnd. w/ oct. shank & brass cone front sight. 6 Shot rnd. cyl. Brass frame & grip straps. 1 Piece walnut grip. Gun is devoid of any markings or numbering. CONDITION: bbl. & cyl. have faded to mottled brown. Loading lever shows some cleaning. Brass parts have acquired a dark greenish tarnish. Grips show light wear & marks. Functioning action. Lightly pitted bore w/ intact rifling. PROVENANCE: Collection of Alan Bradley Shepherd.
