US REVOLVER.Cal. 44. S# 24450. Bbl. 8" round w/ German silver blade front sight & New York address has non-matching S# 122074. Round rebated cyl. w/ no remaining markings. Blue finished, bbl., cyl. & backstrap. Backstrap is no. 11141. Case colored frame, hammer & loading lever. Brass trigger guard is no. 56370. Wedge is no. 2372. 1 piece walnut grip. Trigger guard is stamped "US" below serial number. Right side of bbl. has W inspector's mark. Left side has SS inspector's mark. Bottom of right grip panel has C inspector's mark. CONDITION: fine as arsenal refinished retaining over 90% blue & case color finished. Bbl. & frame markings are weakened. Brass is cleaned bright. Grips have good refinish w/ small chip at toe of right panel. Sound action. Bore is generally bright w/ strong rifling showing some very light corrosion.
