REVOLVER. Cal. 44. SN. 163085. Bbl. 7 1/2" with added dovetail mounted blade front & V notch rear sight. Round rebated 6 shot cyl. with Naval scene roll engraving has Thuer Conversion ring. Frame, bbl., grip straps & hammer have late vine style scroll factory engraving. Left side of frame has engraved "COLTS / PATENT" marking. Bbl., frame & grip straps having matching numbers 163085. Cyl. has non matching number 595. Blue & case colored finish with silver finished brass trigger guard. One piece ivory grip. 1867 mfg. CONDITION: Metal finish has largely faded to gray with some blue remaining in protected areas of the bbl and backstrap. Left side of frame has some lightly visible case colors. Brass trigger guard has 30% remaining silver that has acquired a dark tarnish. Ivory grips exhibit a very mild yellowing with grains checks at butt. Tight action.
