Cal. 38 CF. S# 4679. Bbl. 7 1/2" rnd. w/ ejector, German silver blade front sight & New York address. Rnd. cyl. w/ Naval scene roll engraving. Bbl., frame & grip straps have matching number. Cyl. has non matching number "4144". Wedge is unnumbered. Rear face of loading gate is numbered "264". "C" is stamped in hammer channel. 1 Piece walnut grip. CONDITION: gray metal shows scratches, sm. dents & spots of light pitting. Cyl. retains 40% scene. Brass grip straps show old cleaning w/ numerous sm. dents at butt. Grips have dark worn appearance w/ dents & handling marks having numerous dents at butt. Sound mechanics. Bore is generally bright retaining strong rifling.
