REVOLVER. Cal. 32-20. S# 402256. Bbl. 6". Army Special double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1915. Bbl. exhibits standard factory markings consisting of the model and cal. designations on the left, with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a high polish blue finish overall, save for on the sides of the hammer, which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "COLT" checkered brown hard rubber grips. Standard fixed half-moon blade front sight and frame notched rear sight. All serialized parts are matching, including the frame, cyl. crane, and grips. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting light edge wear, areas of wear and thinning (around the muzzle end of the bbl.), some light superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Bore exhibits consistent light to mild pitting and a ring bulge towards the center of the bbl., while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some light smoothing, as well as scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (26-2105/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
