Cal. 38 WCF. S# 196654. Bbl 7 1/2". Bisley Model single action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1900. The left side of the barrel is stamped "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 W.C.F", with Colt's single line address across the top. The left side of the frame is stamped with patent information, followed by the encircled Rampant Colt logo. Frame is mounted with 2 piece Colt checkered brown hard rubber grips. Flat top blade front sight with frame notched rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame, trigger guard, and rear grip strap. CONDITION: frame exhibits a mottled gray patina, with blued components retaining trace to fair amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning that shows through to a matching gray patina overall, with some scattered areas of mild pitting. Bright bore, exhibiting light surface pitting and well defined rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing and some scattered nicks and marks from handling and storage, with a loss to the bottom right corner on the right grip, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
