Cal. 41 Colt. S# 259541. Bbl 4 3/4". Bisley Model single action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1904. The left side of the barrel is stamped "(BISLEY MODEL) 41 COLT.", with Colt's 2 line address stamped over the top at the breech. Left side of the frame is stamped with Colt's patent information, followed by the encircled Rampant Colt logo. Frame exhibits a case color hardened finish, with remaining components being blued. Frame is mounted with 2 piece Colt checkered brown hard rubber grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, trigger guard, and rear grip strap. CONDITION: frame retains trace amounts of its original factory case color hardened finish, with the balance exhibiting gray and brown patinas, with some pitting overall. Blued components exhibit wear and thinning overall that shows through to brown patina and mild pitting overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting pitting and strong rifling throughout. Grips show scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (23-1420/MLW). CURIO. $1,750-2,500.
