Cal. 45 Colt. S# 306754. Bbl 5 1/2". Bisley Model single action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1908. The left side of the barrel is stamped "(BISLEY MODEL) 45 COLT", with Colt's single line address across the top. Left side of frame bear patent information, followed by the encircled Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece Colt checkered hard rubber grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, trigger guard, rear grip strap, and is hand-scribed on the interior of the grip panels along with the initials "WLB". CONDITION: metal components retain fair amounts of their original factory applied blue finish, with the balance exhibiting a mottled gray patina overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting some scattered areas of pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout. Action timing is off and requires gunsmith attention. Grips exhibit smoothing and some scattered marks from handling and storage, with the left grip panel exhibiting a loss at the bottom left corner, but otherwise remaining sturdy and serviceable.
