REVOLVER. Cal. 22 LR. S# 869CBI. Bbl. 4 3/4" Mfg. 1969 in celebration of California's Bicentennial as a territory; 5,000 units. All gold plated except for trigger, hammer and their pivot screws which are nickel plated. Goncalo Alves smooth grips with gold Colt medallions plus scroll engraving on butt. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Light tan colored Colt branded wooden presentation case also having state outline and Bicentennial markings on lid. Outlined (revolver and "nugget") black velvet base plus dark green satin with gold embellishments as on top of lid, under lid. Simulated gold nugget in shape of California with Bicentennial info on one side and topographical appearance to other side. Numerous light scratches on case lid. CONDITION: very small dented mark near base of backstrap that does not break plating; all other aspects near excellent appearing new and unfired. (24-4810/NW). CURIO. $500-750.
