Cal. 22 LR. S# 1418MES. Bbl. 4 3/4" w/ blade front sight plus "1820 - MAINE SESQUICENTENNIAL - 1970" on left side & Colt Scout markings on right. Mfg. 1970 to commemorate Maine's 150th year of statehood; 3,000 units. Gold plated frame, bbl., ejector housing & trigger. Nickel plated grip frame, hammer & unfluted cyl.; corresponding screw plating throughout. Simulated pearl grips w/ silver Colt medallions; light scroll work on butt of grip frame. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: good commemorative marked display box of Maine pine w/ blue velvet shadow lined base plus removable lid having gold accents & sesquicentennial markings on blue satin. Patina & handling marks on case exterior having commemorative markings on lid. In keeping w/ Maine tradition, Colt marked gold plated decorative lobster sits in recess of case base. CONDITION: very good plus appearance w/ gold plating on trigger & left side of bbl. worn to base nickel plating. Light traces of firing residue in action.
