GRIPS. Cal. 31. S# 66008. This attractive 6" Colt pocket revolver was made in 1853. Standard configuration with two-line New York City address with brackets, small "COLTS PATENT" on left side of frame, mounted with factory smooth ivory grips. CONDITION: very good overall, all matching serial numbers with exception of wedge which has last 4 digits "5910", good "stagecoach robbery" rolled cylinder, all 5 complete safety pins, good discernible markings throughout. Grips have a smooth mellow aged ivory patina and inked S# in back strap channel. Mechanics are crisp, with good rifled bore. (01-25720/JS). ANTIQUE. $2,000-3,000.
