Cal. 44. S# 545. Standard configuration, bbl. 8" w/ 1 line New York address, custom checkered ivory grips, silverplated. Conversion number "545" stamped below S# 145594 on trigger guard & backstrap; on frame & bbl. over polished out SNs. Conversion number is also stamped on cyl., cartridge door, ejector base & bbl. housing. Small government inspection marks “A”, “P” & “H” found on various components. CONDITION: fine, as restored about 1980. Front sight is restoration. Revolver retains virtually all restored silver finish, custom ivory grips signed internally by Texas maker. Screws retain most of their applied fire blue. Markings all discernible though address in cyl. scene are weak due to plating. Mechanically fine w/ crisp rifled bore.
