WITH EJECTOR. Cal. 38 RF. S# 7952. Bbl. 4 1/2" rnd. w/ bead front sight & New York address. Loading lever slot is plugged. Rnd. rebated 5 shot cyl. w/ stage coach scene roll engraving. Brass backstrap triggerguard. Left side of frame has July 25, 1871 & July 2nd, 1873 patent dates. Full nickel finish. Bbl., frame, grip straps & cyl. have matching numbers. Wedge has non-matching number "3245". One piece ivory grips. Est. quantity of 65,000 produced 1873-1875. CONDITION: bbl., cyl. & frame retain over 80% nickel. Grip straps retain sm. amounts of plated finish in protected areas. Ivory grips show some age related checking & shrinkage. Strong mechanics. Lightly pitted bore retains sound rifling.
