Cal. 41 Colt. S# 181134. Bbl. 4 1/2". Model 1901 New Army double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1902. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the cal. designation, with Colt's mfg. and patent information marked over the top. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "COLT/ (RAMPANT COLT LOGO)" checkered hard rubber grips. Half-moon blade front sight with frame U-notched rear sight. Matching assembly numbers are present on the frame, cyl. crane, and cyl. latch. Grip's assembly numbers do not match, but match themselves. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting pitting beneath the finish overall, with most factory markings remaining only partially visible/legible. Dark pitted bore, retaining fair to good rifling throughout. Grips show a few nicks and marks from handling and storage but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-3875/MLW). CURIO. $150-250.
