Cal. 22 LR. S# 65999. Bbl. 6". Officers Model Match double action revolver mfg. by Colt circa. 1952-1953. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, with Colt's single line address marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the left side of the top strap appearing to have been touched up with cold blue at one time. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Ramped target front sight with adj. square notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light wear and some light superficial handling marks, with a couple of small spots of pitting present on the left side of the frame. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Grips show some minor marks from handling and storage but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-3867/MLW). CURIO. $500-750.
