Cal. 38 Spl. S# 926851. Bbl. 6". Officers Model Match double action revolver mfg. by Colt circa. 1960. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, with Colt's single line address marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the top strap of the frame exhibiting a matte blue finish. Sides of hammer are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Pinned ramp blade front sight and adj. square notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame and cyl. crane. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light edge wear, as well as some superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Single action only action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Grips show some light to mild smoothing, as well as a few superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. PROVENANCE: From the Lifetime Collection of Malcolm Zickler, Ret. USAF Lt. Col.
