Cal. 22 LR. S# 822MES. Bbl. 4 3/4" w/ blade front sight & frame notched rear. Mfg. 1970 to celebrate Maine's 150th year of statehood. Mixture of gold & nickel plating throughout plus simulated pearl grips w/ gold Colt medallions. Augusta native Calvin Glazier convinced Colt to do the Maine commemorative. 3,000 Units produced in characteristic Maine pine box having iconic gold plated lobster included. Interior of case is blue velvet & satin w/ gold Maine State outline under lid. Exterior of pine box also has Maine logos wood burned onto lid. 1970 Sales price was $125. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: pine presentation box w/ lobster plus manual. Outline of prior square price sticker on end of base. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent appearing new & unfired.
