Cal. 45 ACP/AR. S# 181429. Bbl. 5 1/2". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on frame, bbl., cyl., extractor & right grip panel. Post-WW1 commercial 1917 hand ejector revolver. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered walnut grips with diamond center & silver S&W medallions. Lanyard ring present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory letter that confirms the revolver's configuration. The letter states this revolver was shipped to A.F. Stoeger in 1931 & it was the only gun in the shipment. CONDITION: grips show a couple light dings & some handling marks. Hammer & trigger retain most of their case colors with some fading to gray & moderate oxidation. Balance of metal retains 85-90% factory quality restored blue with scattered oxidation mostly on the left side & light edge wear at muzzle. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
