Cal. 42. 18 ga. S#1576. Standard 2nd model grapeshot revolver manufactured 1863, one of about 2000 Paris 2nd models made for the Confederacy. Barrel address: "Col. LeMat Bte sgdc Paris". Standard configuration, 9-shot cylinder, underlying shotgun barrel, reciprocating pin cylinder rotation system, hinged selector on hammer face for choice of shotgun or cylinder. Checkered wood grips, loading assembly attached to frame on left side. CONDITION: good overall, gray cleaned pitted metal. Restored loading assembly, frame pin, and hammer screw.
