SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. 1) Pocket Revolver. Cal. 28 for cup primed cartridge. S# 2859. 3" octagon bbl. with rib and semi-circular sight. Round 6 shot front loading cylinder. Blue finish with silver finished brass frame. Right side of frame is fitted with a hook type ejector. Spur trigger. Square butt grips. CONDITION: blue has largely faded to gray. Brass frame shows a small amount of silver having a dark tarnish. Grips show wear & handling marks. Action has weak spring tension, cyl. shows side play. Good bore. 2) Pocket Revolver. Cal. 28 for cup primed cartridge. S# 2995. 3" octagon bbl. with rib & semi -circular sight. Round 6 shot front loading cylinder. Blue finish with brass frame. Square butt grips. CONDITION: hook ejector is missing from the right side of the frame. Metal has faded to gray. Brass frame shows a mild patina retaining traces only of plated finish. Cylinder rotated freely when action is cocked. Good bore. 3) Cal. 28 cup primed. S# 520 under grips. 3" octagon bbl. with rib & semi-circular sight. Round 6 shot front loading cylinder. Blue finish with silver finished brass frame Right side of frame is fitted hook type ejector. Spur trigger. Square butt grips. CONDITION: faded gray metal. Brass frame has trace only of silver finish. Refinished grips. Functioning mechanics. Good bore. The above revolvers were an attempt to circumvent the Rollin White patent for bored through cylinders. Approximately 2700 were mfg. in the mid 1860s. 4) Connecticut Arms & Mfg. Co. Single Shot Deringer. Cal. 44 RF. NSN. 4" tapered octagon bbl. with semi-circular sight. Breech block pivots to the left for loading. Blued iron bbl. & frame. Checkered hard rubber grips. Estimated total of 8,000 mfg. 1866 to the late 1880s. CONDITION: metal has faded to brown showing some handling marks. Grips show light wear & fading. Sound mechanics. Lightly pitted bore. (01-28871/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,800.
