DERRINGERS. Cal. 22 S (Both). S# 56253D & 56254D. Bbl. 2 7/16" (Both). Pair of 4th Model derringer pistols produced by Butler for Colt. Top of the bbls. are marked "-COLT-", with the cal. designation and Colt's mfg. information marked on the left. Zamak frames exhibit a nickel plated finish, with the Zamak bbls. exhibiting a browned finish. Frames are mounted with 1-piece plain wood grips head grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory brown leatherette display case. CONDITION: pistols retain the vast majority of their original factory finishes, with the bbls. exhibiting some light edge wear around the muzzle. Nickel plated frames show some bubbling and cracking to the plating. Grips show cracking and flaking to their varnish finish, but otherwise remain sound. Case shows some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (26-2512 & 26-2513/MLW). BOTH MODERN. $300-500.
