F-SERIES COLT'S MFG. CO. 1862 POCKET POLICE REVOLVERS. ALL: Cal. 31. Two of approx. 3,756 Mfg. 1980-1981 by Leu Imparato & Iver Johnson; final inspection done by Colt. Both revolvers were left in the "White" finish with brass grip straps. Rnd. 5.5" bbls. Five shot fluted rebated cyls. 1 piece walnut grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original foam-lined boxes containing owner's manual packet. 1) S# 49015.2) S# 49016. CONDITION: both appears unfired. White appearance shows a few spots starting to acquire patina. Brass grip straps are starting to acquire a very mild patina; butt numbers were partially stamped. Very good grip finish. Bright near excellent bores. PROVENANCE: from the renowned collection of quality sporting arms from Lewis Drake together with inventory of Lewis Drake Associates. (01-26146 & 01-26147/MD).
