(1820-1890). Cal. 40 rifled. NSN. 52" Overall. Bbl. 36" oct. initialed "ES". 4 Piece brass patch box has 4 piercings. 7 1/2" Brass comb inlay & a 5" brass saddle plate. The J&W Aston percussion lock has dbl. set triggers. Elias Specht worked in Beavertown, PA & his brother Moses Specht was Sheriff of Snyder County in 1863. CONDITION: patchbox finial, comb inlay, wrist inlay & sideplate retaining nails, which had originally been flush, have been replaced w/ rnd head protruding nails.
