PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. S# 100590. Bbl. 4 1/2". Woodsman semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1936. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Colt's patent and mfg. information, with "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side at the chamber. Left side of the slide is marked "COLT", followed by the cal. designation and the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall, with the top strap of the slide exhibiting a matte blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece stag grips. Original blade front sight has been removed and now features a band that retains the bbl. and bbl. weight with a grooved blade sight present over the top. Rear sight has been replaced with an adj. square notch rear sight. Trigger is fitted with trigger shoe. MAGS: two 10-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting a couple of spots of light wear and some scattered handling marks overall, with some areas of light pitting present beneath the finish. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some age-related discoloration but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-3849/MLW). MODERN. $600-900.
