PISTOL. Cal. 380 ACP. S# 9333. Bbl. 3 1/2". CZ24 semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Czechoslovakia by CZ in 1925. The top of the bbl. is marked "CESKA ZBROJOVKA A.S.vPRAZE", followed by the S# and a Czech Rampant Lion proof, with a faint "25" marked on the left side. Right side of the frame is marked "C (ARROW) Z 25", followed by a Czech military "J (RAMPANT LION) 26" acceptance proof. Metal components exhibit what appears to be a period reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece plain wood wrap around grip. Fixed blade front sight, with dovetailed V-notch rear sight. Mag. release is fitted with a lanyard loop. Matching numbers are present on the frame and slide. Bbl. is mismatched (S# 167822). MAGS: 1 FN1922 8-rd. mag. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray and brown patinas overall, with some scattered superficial handling marks and spots of pitting. Bore is bright, exhibiting scattered spots and areas of dark moderate pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Grip shows some scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-339/MLW).
