Cal. 7.62x39mm. S# D62472. Bbl. 20 5/8". vz. 52 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by CZ in Czechoslovakia in 1957, subsequently converted from 7.62x45mm to 7.62x39mm, and later imported by Century Arms International. The left side of the receiver is marked "she" over "007 (crossed swords) 57" and the S#. Sides of bbl. are Century Arms import marked. Metal components exhibit a phosphate finish, with the receiver cover being blued. Wood buttstock with half wood and half stamped steel handguard. Bbl. retains its side-folding blade bayonet. MAGS: 1 - 10 rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their period arsenal finish, exhibiting wear and thinning that shows through to patina, with scattered areas of pitting present on the receiver. Mirror bore, exhibiting areas of dark pitting towards the muzzle and retaining strong rifling throughout. Stock exhibits scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (23-6069/MLW). CURIO. $700-1,000.
