GENERATION SAA REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. S# 36545. Bbl. 7 1/2" with Hartford address and blade sight. Black powder frame. 6-shot fluted cyl. Bullseye ejector head. Revolver has nearly full coverage engraving highlighting famous Texas ranches such as the 6666 and 101. Bbl., cyl., frame, and backstrap feature famous cattle brand markings surrounded by foliate scroll with punch dot backgrounds. Trigger guard has a sunburst on its bow with highlights around the S#. Frame, back strap, trigger guard, and bbl. have matching # "36545". Fully engraved cyl. has no visible S#. Loading gate is marked with assembled # "88". Custom antique nickel finish with fire blued ejector head, cyl. pin, and screws. 1-piece custom natural white grips with relief carved bulls head on left panel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt factory letter stating "Serial Number: 36545/ Caliber: .45/c/ Barrel Length: Not Listed/ Finish: Nickel/ Type of Stocks: Not Listed/ Shipped to: B. This example is also accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the engraver David Wade Harris. As well as a notarized letter dated 05/27/25, signed by Joe Roberts, retired Texas Special Ranger and Brand Inspector in West Texas for the Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association of Ft. Worth, Texas, stating that this was his personal revolver. CONDITION: fine as upgraded retaining over 98% antique style nickel refinish. Screws and fittings have very good fire blue. Action is tight. Bore has general light pitting with worn rifling having a ring bulge approx. 1 1/2" from the muzzle. Grips show evidence of checking at the butt. (01-27157/DS). ANTIQUE. $6,000-9,000.
