Cal. 38 Spl. S# D30445. Bbl. 4". Serrated blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. 1968 made 10-5 revolver. Backstrap has "MPDC" police marking for Washington DC Metro Police. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered walnut grips with mismatch numbered right panel & silver S&W medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: right handed Lawrence 120B leather holster. CONDITION: grips show scattered finish wear more heavy on right panel, a couple light chips, some checkering wear, dings & handling marks. Hammer & trigger have strong traces of case colors with overall fading to gray & scattered oxidation. Balance of metal retains 40% blue with overall fading to gray, scattered oxidation, handling marks, edge wear & some dings. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore showing perhaps some light frosting. (26-117/MJC). CURIO. $300-500.
