Cal. 410 3". S# 26060. The 28" chopperlump bbls. are fitted w/ slightly raised matted rib. Side of the left bbl. is stamped "Chambered for 3" Shells". Bbl. flats are stamped w/ S# and the chokes with "0" and "C". Blued action w/ automatic safety and dbl. triggers is stamped "Iver Johnson", "Skeet-er" on the left side, with "IVER JOHNSON'S", "ARMS & CYCLE WORKS", and "FITCHBURG MASS. U.S.A." on the right. Straight gripped buttstock of nicely crotch-figured American walnut measures 14 1/2" over an Iver Johnson owl's head buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching beavertail forend has a J-spring release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter at muzzle: R .390", L .403". Wall Thickness: R .038", L .030". STOCK: DAH: 2 7/8". DAC: 1 11/16". LOP: 14 1/2" CAST: neutral. WEIGHT: 6 lb. 6 oz. CONDITION: very good to fine. Bbls. retaining about 80% of the original blue. Action retains 85–90% of what appears to be a reblue, but may be original factory blue, as many of these actions were originally case hardened and later reblued by the factory when blue finish became the standard. Stocks retain over 90% of their original varnish, which shows some fairly deep marks and is considerably crazed. Bores are bright & shiny. Mechanically fine. (22-2246/MGM). CURIO. $3,000-4,500.
