HAMMERLESS SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 380 Hammerless. S# 137335. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1908 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1944 for the U.S. military. Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's mfg. and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with the cal. designation marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with a U.S. cross cannons escutcheon, with "U.S. PROPERTY" marked on the right. Left side of the bbl. is stamped "COLT 380 AUTO" at the chamber. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Serrated blade blade front sight, with dovetailed square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 blued 7-rd. CONDITION: very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, some spots of light to mild wear and thinning, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some light smoothing, as well as a few minor marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
