AUTO MILITARY CARBINE. Cal. 30 Carb. S# 4378836. Bbl. 18", marked behind front sight parallel with bore "MARLIN". Milled adjustable rear sight is marked on the right side with a tiny "H" in the shield. Blade front sight with protective ears. Fabricated sight base marked "P". Wide barrel band with bayonet lug and wire swivel marked "KI". Straight-cut slide with illegible marking. The flat bolt is marked "N6". The milled triggerguard is marked "W". Mag. catch marked "E.I.". The straight hammer is unmarked. Walnut stock set with low wood oval cut buttstock, marked on the left side in the cheek area ".U.", and marked on the right side with faint crossed cannons. The two-rivet handguard with a deep sighting groove is unmarked. MAGS: 1–15 rd., marked "UQ". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: canvas muzzle cover marked "U.S. ROBEY TACKLE CO. 1944". CONDITION: stock set has areas of added finish. Cross cannons are very faint and have a noticeable filled gouge on the right side below rear sight.
