Left bbl. has marking "Von Lengerke & Antoine, Chicago, Agents". Action features double underlug locking w/ doll's head extension & side clips. Single selective trigger. Selective ejectors. Action has generous coverage of vine type foliate scroll that extends to breech end of bbls. Sides of action have banners marked "Westley Richards & Co". Original ebony tipped splinter forearm w/ wraparound hand checkering. Custom replacement straight hand stock of nicely grained walnut w/ borderless fleur-de-lis hand checkering. Toeline of stock has German silver nameplate. Heel of stock has brass shield w/ presentation marking & date of January 1919. LOP: 14 1/8" over an added leather covered pad. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 1/8". Stock has approx. 1/4" cast off. Bore diameter: R .633 L .629. Choke constriction: R .010 L .041. Minimum wall thickness: R .031 L .031. WEIGHT: 5 lbs, 10.2 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: leather covered case w/ burgundy felt covered fitted interior. Case lid has Westley Richards maker's label, VL & A agents label & instruction label. Case contains 2 piece ebony cleaning rod. Ebony handle turn screw, nickel finished oil bottle, snap caps & cleaning accessories. CONDITION: bbls. retain over 95% blue showing muzzle & edge wear. Action has traces of case colors w/ balance of action fading to a pleasing gray. Forearm shows light wear. Replacement stock has very good finish.
