BLOMBERG. This document, dated 1 November 1934, appoints Major Werner Prellberg to the Reichswehrministerium. The document has a large impressed seal showing a Weimar Republic eagle. The document is signed in ink by Adolf Hitler as well as Werner von Blomberg, who was Hitler’s first Minister of War. Major Werner Prellberg went on to become a Lieutenant General in the Luftwaffe and was awarded the German Cross in gold. The document is attractively framed with a copy of a photograph showing Hitler talking to three officers. CONDITION: document remains crisp and easy to read, with only slight yellowing to the paper.
