TAKEDOWN LEVER ACTION RIFLE WITH RARE SPECIAL ORDER STOCK DIMENSIONS. Cal. 30 WCF. S# 124851. Bbl. 26" octagon, with sporting bbl. sights and combination tang sight. Full length takedown mag. Blue finish, with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock have style I checkering, and special dimensions with hard rubber buttplate. Left inside of lower tang is marked "12912XXXXOHR". Top channel of stock is marked with non-matching assembly # "13246 94". Length of Pull: 14" as letter states. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms Museum record stating "Type: Rifle/ Caliber: 30/ Barrel Type: Octagon/ Trigger: Plain/ Plain, Checkered stock, Pistol grip/ Length of stock" 14in/, Drop: 3-3/4 in./ Shotgun butt, Rubber/ Takedown/ Received in warehouse on November 11, 1901/ Shipped from warehouse on November 12, 1901, Order number 117225". CONDITION: 75% original blue, showing fading and carry wear on action, with spots of light pitting. Hammer and lever show some original case colors on sides. Forearm shows substantial finish and checkering wear, with scattered handling marks. Stock finish shows light wear, with numerous scratches and light marks. Sound action. Very good bright bore.
