Cal. 30 Luger. S# 3740. Bbl. 4 3/4" w/ saw tooth blade sight, cross proof & numbered 3740. Military model indicated by being w/in S# 2001-5000; commercial examples outside this block. Early features of dished toggles w/ lock & flat front of breech block having early style extractor; cross in sunburst over chamber. Appropriate Swiss proofs, strawed sm. parts, appropriate internal areas in the white & P38 below frame S# indicating private purchase or governmental release in 1938. Matching 740 S# on rear toggle, receiver lug & backs of both grips. 40 on front toggle, breech lock, trigger, takedown lever, grip safety & sideplate. MAGS: 1 correct very good tin plated 8 rd. w/ wood base having disks in dimples. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: good brown flap holster w/ shoulder strap; stud & strap retention. Back between double belt loops dated 1910 along w/ "EMILDAPP / SATTLER / SULGEN" in oval. Slight stitching break in front corner of flap. Verdigris on metal parts. CONDITION: very good to excellent appearance w/ very minimal beginning high point & function wear. Very nice vivid case colors. Light hand wear on dark left grip; right lighter w/ slightly more hand wear & couple of damaged diamond tops. Near excellent bore.
