HOLSTER AND SHOULDER STOCK. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 2000. Standard early configuration with an 8" barrel fitted with an elevation-adjustable tangent rear sight and a windage-adjustable front. Receiver ring is dated "1917", and the S# has no suffix. All numbers match, including magazine and beechwood grips. MAG: 1 8rd. matching. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: pistol comes with 1917 dated holster with takedown tool and cleaning rod as well as correctly marked board shoulder stock with leather harness and end cap; mounting iron with S# 1842c. CONDITION: very fine, retaining about 90% of its original blue, with high edge wear and scattered freckling. Small parts retain most of their original straw with staining and freckling. Bore is bright, sharp, and shiny. Mechanically good. Left grip has a missing top right corner under the safety, and the right grip has an enlarged cutout for the magazine release button. Holster leather is dark, with rubs and marks. Stitching and tabs are good. Board stock is also good, with 90% finish on the iron. PROVENANCE: the collection of Curtis H. Halvorson. (23-5800/MGM).
